The Interceptor port of Burger Time was okay, but it disappoints me on many levels. One of the best ports of Burger Time I've ever played was for the Intellivision. It had all of the sights and sounds of the original, as well as the game-play. There's no reason they couldn't have made a more faithful port to the C64. Loadstar also published their own version of the game, but the game-play was still lacking.
Actually, in my opinion, the Commodore port that plays most like the original Burger Time is the one made for the C128, "Burger Whop!". The graphics are much more simplified (being in 80 column mode and all), but all of the game elements, baddies, pepper-ups, etc., are all represented, and the game mechanics are spot on.
