Depends. I have a local auction site that sometimes has a good deal. There is a site in the UK that has software (on cassette) starting at 2 pounds. Works for me, but I can imagine shipping is crazy if you are on the other side of the pond. Lucky for us Europeans, the home computer was the most succesfull selling thing for a long time.
I bought both a boxed C64C and a boxed 1541-II disk drive together for 50 euro’s. Ms-PacMan cartridge with manual for 8 including shipping. A boxed commodore 16 for 25 euro’s. So it is possible, just need to be patient.
Dru: I'd go even higher.

Dru: I'd keep Junior Member at 25 though! (The shoutbox turned into a chat tonight! Real chat? Still tumblweeds! )

Everything C64: Don't really want to go any higher than this at the moment. What do you think? 25 posts = Junior Member / 50 posts = Full Member / 100 posts = Senior Member / 150 posts = God / 250 posts = Super God

Dru: Sounds good! What about the game characters or models?

Dru: Or maybe would it be possible to choose your own personal rank when you reach (something like) 500 posts?

Everything C64: Not sure if I can do that on this board, but will look into it.
